THE OLD WORLD | Manuel Sinquenco

Manny started young. With artistic inclinations running through his veins, he started his painting career at the age of seventeen, learning from the village artist under the guidance of Jun Tiongco. In 1990, He began joining exhibits and painting miniatures to earn little income. Alegria and Felicidades and Discovery Galleries became his regular clients. His subject matter included old houses, callado, and human figures in compositions that reflected his individual interest and done in colors and shading to produce an old-word style. His works are included in Manuel Duldulao’s “The Art Collector’s Guidebook, “also in the 2007 publication of Duldulao’s “The Lives and Loves of the Artist and Models.”
