About the Artist

“ It is important to do things that make you happy even if my works are criticized because they look like Tony’s.
It’s okay. It makes me happy.
A lot of my own memories and experience were used to make my paintings and that is what makes my art different from his.”

Born on March 23, 1980 in Antipolo Rizal. He studied Architecture at the Technological Institute of the Philippines. The Mahilum family primarily influenced him; his background in Architecture is reflected in the intricate detail seen in structures, which he uses as backdrops in Filipino rustic villages that he is well known for. One of his major works resides in GSIS Lobby.
