Born August 12, 1951 in Mandaluyong City, he finished Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines in 1974. He was greatly influenced by his father, Kiko Reyes. His “wash” technique using watercolor where.. he incorporates detailed brush strokes to create a realistic composition of Koi fishes in Lotus ponds, which according to Easter tradition are symbols of good luck.
In the course of his career, he hosted several solo art exhibitions, as well as group shows in Australia and Korea. His works are among the collection of Eugenio Lopez, John Henry Lhuillier, Noli De Castro, and Zesto Philippines.
